Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS)
The remaining budget for the film will be made up using the EIS. This is a series of more traditional tax reliefs designed to encourage investments in small unquoted companies carrying on a qualifying trade in the United Kingdom.
Investment in companies that are not listed on a stock exchange often carries a high risk. The tax relief is intended to offer some compensation for that risk. The EIS offers both income tax and capital gains tax reliefs to investors who subscribe for shares in qualifying companies.
We are using both the SEIS and the EIS investment opportunities.
Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS)
The SEIS offers extremely advantageous tax benefits, including 50% income tax relief and 28% capital gains relief during the tax year. Therefore investors only risk 22%, which is further ameliorated if the film does not make a profit by loss relief of 45%. Each SEIS vehicle can raise a maximum of £150,000. As an example, an investment of £5,000 equates to only £2,500 in net cost after the 50% tax relief is considered.

Test screenings
You and a guest are invited to a preview screening of the Film in London’s West End, designed to test its appeal to a random cinema-going audience before release.
Invitation to the red carpet premiere and after-party
You and three guests are invited to the exclusive world premiere of the Film in London, followed by an exclusive after-party attended by cast, crew and celebrity guests.
Personal credit
You will receive a personal credit on the closing credits of the Film.
Memorabilia
You will receive a bound limited edition copy of the shooting script signed by all key cast and crew, along with a full-size release poster and special DVD of the Film as well as a CD of its soundtrack.
A chance to appear in the film
We are also offering the chance to appear as a supporting artist in some of our key scenes. Investors not only meet the actors, but get to work with them.
Regular e-newsletters
You will receive regular e-newsletters, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at the film-making process, and updating Investors on everything to do with the Film. This includes interviews with cast members, on-set reports, branding and marketing, as well as sales, distribution and budgetary updates.
